About Lotti

Lotti Walters
(Prof.dip Psy C, NCS Accredited)

I am an integrative therapist with a person-centred foundation underlying my approach. I am also qualified in hypnotherapy and am a Reiki Master. In my own life, I value meditation and mindfulness practices as being a key part of taking care of my physical and mental well-being. I engage in regular reflective practice and enjoy expanding my learning through a variety of CPD courses. I am a registered accredited member of the National Counselling Society, and the National Hypnotherapy Society.

How I work:
I tailor each session to the individual needs of the client, working with a non-judgemental and empathic attitude to create a relaxed and secure environment. In my experience, creating safe space and a strong therapeutic relationship is intrinsic to facilitating people’s self-exploration. As an integrative therapist, I work with a variety of counselling models which enables me to support you in the way that best suits your needs at the time.
Often, all people need is a space to talk and not feel judged or guilty for sharing honestly about what is going on for them. This alone can be a very healing and cathartic experience for many.
I do not give advice or tell people what to do or how to live their lives. I actively listen and help to interpret what I have heard. This can help you to gain a different perspective on the issues you are facing. Then, together, we can build strategies so you are able to make your own self empowered changes. Change can feel difficult and scary, but with the aid and support of counselling, you can make many positive changes to improve your quality of life.

Who I work with:
I work with older children (13+) and adults. Examples of issues we can work together on include stress, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, domestic abuse, relationships, sexuality, grief/loss, behavioural issues and addiction/alcoholism.
